Let’s take a look at how this can help you.
The matrix can be put into four sections. Do, delegate, schedule and delete. Also noting what’s important, not important, urgent and not urgent.
Do tasks that are both urgent and important now. These are necessary to obtain your long-term goals and have consequences if not done. These are at the front of your mind and usually stress you out the most.
Delegate unload tasks that are urgent but not important. Must be completed but don’t affect the long-term goals. You are not needed to personally handle these.
Schedule tasks that are important yet not urgent. They affect your long-term goals, but are not priority.
Delete neither important or urgent. Take them off your list as they simply get in the way of your focus.
